This week I'm hanging out in Rescue Alaska as Harmony finds herself in a race against time. I really enjoy writing this particular series mostly because it is so different than many of the other things I write.
In addition to spending a lot of time at the computer, I've been working on quotes from our book of the month Seacliff High: The Secret. It has been so fun revisiting Alyson and the gang. The Secret was actually the first book I ever wrote. I didn't publish it until after Zoe and Tj but I did write it even before I had the idea to be a writer. It's still to this day a personal favorite of mine.
The gang who hang out at Kathi Daley Books group page are going to try a book challenge this year. There will be a giveaway for a $25 gift card at the end of each month and anyone who has read a book in the appropriate category will be eligible to enter. Check out the body of the newsletter for the list of book topics. This month we are doing a book set at New Year's or a wildcard since we got such a late start and I didn't want anyone to feel they needed to abandon what they were already reading. If you want a book set at New Years I have several including: Holiday Hangover (Zoe), Alaskan Alliance (Zoe), and The Grudge (Seacliff High).
The clues for the mystery this month will be delivered on January 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. You will need the clues from all four weeks to solve the mystery. If you miss any of the newsletters you can find the archived copies on my webpage: https://bit.ly/32wMsT3
Remember to enter this week's Rafflecopter and that Rafflecopter's are only live until the end of the day on Thursday. The winner is selected on Friday.
Be sure to scan down the entire newsletter. There are important notices and links you won't want to miss. As always, be sure to enter for a chance to win this weeks gift card giveaway. The entry form is provided toward the bottom of the newsletter.
Seacliff High: The Secret - The first day of school
Alyson knows that navigating the first day at the new school she must now attend is crucial for the success of every other day that follows. She approaches the task with care and thoughtful determination.
Twelve friends all got together and went in on a ski chalet in Tahoe. The chalet was conveniently located close to a variety of winter activities. In the end the friends teamed up and each team participated in a different activity. Only six of the friends ended up completing the winter activity they signed up for. Use the clues provided all month to determine which pair of friends ended up in urgent care, which pair ended up in the bar down the street, and which ended up back at the chalet snuggled up by the fire. Keep in mind each pair ended up in the same place.
