As The Great Pumpkin prepares to descend on Lake Tahoe I'm finding that a lot of households, including ours, have gone ahead and put up their Halloween decorations even though most of the normal Halloween events have been cancelled due to the virus. Ken and I have been driving around town enjoying all the fall color and this year there seems to be the added bonus of festive decorations.
Cottage on Gooseberry Bay: Thanksgiving Past published yesterday. It is available for kindle, paperback, and large print paperback as of today and will be available in audio in a week or so.
Be sure to stop by my group page this month if you are on Facebook. I'll be doing Halloween themed giveaways every now and then. I'm not organized enough this month to have a schedule of any sort but if you pop in frequently you should catch a few of them. https://www.facebook.com/groups/kathidaleygrouppage
I'll be having Halloween themed books on sale every week between now and the end of the month. As always find the links in the body of the newsletter below.
And as always, be sure to enter to win this weeks gift card giveaway. The entry form is provided toward the bottom of the newsletter. Remember it is only live until the end of the day on Thursday. The winner is selected on Friday.
Twelve friends went to a Halloween party. Each dressed up as a different spooky character. Things got just a bit out of control and by the end of the night one guest was dead. Use the clues provided on October 7th, 14, 21st, and 28th, to figure out which party guest died and which guest was the killer. A rafflecopter will be provided on October 28th for you to provide your answer.
Drake is not the victim and Faith is not the killer
Annie is not the killer
Dracula is not the Killer and Craig is neither the killer nor Victim
Barney and Carrie spent the night dancing and neither were the victim
Ken and I will be sending out Christmas Postcards again this year. I know it seems early to bring it up but I had to sign and Ken had to address almost 1,000 cards last year so we want to get started gathering addresses. We will mail internationally so everyone can participate.
If you would like to receive a Christmas postcard simply send your full mailing address to firstname.lastname@example.org
(We need a snail mail address and not an email address)
We will begin mailing these out around Thanksgiving. The deadline to request a postcard is December 10th.
