We have a new release this week - CATastrophe in the Making is the FINAL story in the long running Whales and Tails series. It's always hard to end a series but I felt it was time. In fact I plan to wrap up a few other series over the next couple of years to make room for new stories I'm itching to tell.
Be sure to scan down toward the bottom of this email for a fun Halloween serving idea.
Also in the body of the newsletter is a new mini mystery. Clues will be presented on October 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. Collect the clues all month and then enter the rafflecopter which will be provided on 10/27.
Speaking of fall, and of course Halloween, I want to remind everyone that I have a Halloween Page on my website. You can access the Amazon page for any Halloween book by simply clicking on the cover of the book you are interested in. https://www.kathidaley.com/copy-of-halloween-page-1
As always, be sure to enter for a chance to win this weeks gift card giveaway. The entry form is provided toward the bottom of the newsletter.
Remember, Rafflecopters are only live until the end of the day on Thursday. The winner is selected on Friday.
TRICK OR TREAT
Ten friends all got together for a night of trick-or-treating and pranks. By the end of the evening one friend had been picked up by local law enforcement for egging the math teachers home, one had eaten so much candy they ended up sick, and one friend was bitten by a bat and had to get rabies shots. Use the clues presented all month to figure out which friend was arrested, which got sick, and which was bitten by a bat.
Clues: Farrah came late after having problems with her cat woman costume
Gavin totally rocked it as the Grim Reaper
Kelly had a hard time eating in her headless horseman costume and did not get sick
Denise came dressed as Frankenstein and did not get sick while Sally was a mummy
Falltastic recipes, crafts, and decorating ideas in each issue from
September 15 - October 27
Pumpkin Charcuterie Board
I found this photo on Pinterest but I've done this before using a pumpkin shaped serving plate. If you don't have a pumpkin shaped cutting board or serving plate you can use a large round plate. The food items you add to the display is totally up to you. That's one of the best things about this type of offering. You can personalize it based on your own taste and the theme of your party. I've done one with cheese, crackers, and olives in the past, and making a board with different types of candy is fun as well.
