Okay, so we seemed to have sailed through February and are onto March. March isn't usually my favorite month due to lingering winter weather and soggy snow but this year I'm determined to enjoy whatever sort of weather Mother Nature might bring to Lake Tahoe on the way to April and SPRING!
The randomly chosen winner of the $25 Amazon gift card from the match the beach bag puzzle from February was Robin Powell with the correct answer of: Anna – 1, Cameron – 2, Jane – 3, Laura – 4, Sara – 5, Debby – 6, Polly – 7, Ella - 8, Beth – 9. I have to say I'm impressed with this group. This puzzle was somewhat harder this month than other months but there were still a LOT of you who got the right answer. Way to go team!
I have a new mystery this month. Clues will be provided on March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31. A Rafflecopter will be provided for your answer on the 31st so be sure to collect the clues all week.
And as always, be sure to enter to win this weeks gift card giveaway. The entry form is provided toward the bottom of the newsletter.
Remember, Rafflecopters are only live until the end of the day on Thursday. The winner is selected on Friday.
Let's go fly a kite
Twelve friends went to the beach to fly kites. Each had a different color kite. Use the clues provided this month to figure out: which friend lost their kite to a gust of wind, which friend flew higher than any of the others, and which friend couldn't get their kite off the ground so quit and went home.
Charley had a black kite which he managed to get into the air but was unable to fly as high as his friends
Nina brought a pink kite while Cindy brought purple
Both the blue and the green kites soared into the sky with no problem and neither were lost on the wind
Shawn did not fly the highest
