Wow another year has come and gone. It seems to all go by so quickly. While there were challenges in 2021, such as an emergency evacuation during the Caldor Fire, I'd say overall it was a good one for us. Ken spent a good part of the summer acting as boat captain for the Clean up the Lake program while I spent much of my time working on new ideas I hope to implement in the year ahead. We both enjoyed our daily walks along the lake and dinners at the beach and look forward to resuming these activities once the snow melts.
Weekly Publishing Update: Now that the holidays are over, I'm back to my regular writing schedule. I'm finishing up Lantern in the Lighthouse, the next Inn at Holiday Bay, and plan to start right in on Finding Motive next week. It's been a while since I wrote a story in the Rescue Alaska series so I'm looking forward to it quite a lot.
In addition to my plan to write a book a month during 2022 I also plan to take a look back at some of the books already published by featuring a book a month on my Kathi Daley Books Group Page. If you aren't already a member of the group page be sure to hop on over and join. We're a fun group. I think you'll enjoy hanging out with us - https://www.facebook.com/groups/kathidaleygrouppage

The Winter Trip
Twelve friends all got together and went in on a ski chalet in Tahoe. The chalet was conveniently located close to a variety of winter activities. After a bit of discussion, the friends teamed up and each team participated in a different activity. In the end only six of the friends completed the winter activity they signed up for. Use the clues provided all month to determine which pair of friends ended up in urgent care, which pair ended up in the bar down the street, and which ended up back at the chalet snuggled up by the fire. Keep in mind each member of the pair ended up in the same place.
