May Theme:  Interdependence

This Sunday May 26th, our service will be Live Streamed over Facebook beginning shortly before 10:00 a.m.

Rev. Pat Jobe

The Totality Of Everything Loves Us

Save one starfish? Fight over which pie flavor is right? Rev. Pat Jobe returns to thread a very delicate needle. He wants us to feel good in the context of everything. It may be another tough row to hoe. Special music, a youth recognition, and a clip of Henry Fonda will make this a very special service. This is also a special no-applause service. Rather than applaud just let the spirit move in the quiet inner workings of the heart.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Titus Family and the Ron Titus Memorial Fund our congregation now has the equipment to 'Live Stream' our Sunday services!

You might ask, what exactly is 'Live Streaming'?

Streaming means listening to music or watching video in 'real time', instead of downloading a file to your computer and watching it later. With internet live events (like our Sunday Service), there is no file to download, just a continuous stream of data.

Please note that due to technical constraints and requests from our speakers we will not be able to stream every Sunday service.  When we do stream, our services will be available for viewing live shortly before 10:00 a.m. over our UUCL Facebook Page (Click this link if you have never visited our Facebook page.)   When the service is over, a recording of the 'Live Stream' will be saved to Facebook so it can be viewed by anyone at a later time or date.

The beauty of 'Live Streaming' is that the service is available to anyone with an internet connection.  Anyone who accesses Facebook - not just Friends or Members of UUCL - can view our services.  If you or a friend are unable to make it to a service, if you are traveling, or if you would like to share the service with someone, it would be as simple as going to our UUCL Facebook Page to view the service in real time or to view it at a later date.

We are excited about this new technology and hope it will help our members and friends, regardless of where you are located, stay connected with UUCL.

Thank You
UUCL
