The Board met by teleconference Thursday night and we want to assure you that we are thinking of each and every one of you during this time of COVID19. We miss seeing you, we miss being together, and we want to make sure that you have what you need.
If you need help with anything such as local grocery or prescription delivery, please let Carla Golden know and we’ll arrange a volunteer to help. If you are feeling lonely - which is normal and to be expected - please let Carla know if you’d like a phone call or a FaceTime or Google Duo chat with a UUCL congregant. If you’d like to reach out to a member but don’t know their email address or phone number and don’t know how to access the Member Directory online, please request it from Carla and she will get the information to you.
We are taking all necessary, recommended, and required precautions to keep everyone connected with UUCL healthy, cared for, and connected. These are unusual times that call on us to lean further into our UU principals and use whatever resources we have to stay committed to justice, equity, and compassion.
We look forward to when we can be together again. Until then, please know that you are not alone, you are on the minds and in the hearts of of many, and that we are here to take good care of each other. Stay well and please stay in touch.
