Princess Elsa's Wish

What little girl doesn’t want to have lunch with a Princess on her birthday?  Kellsie's Hope Foundation was able to help Elsa have a magical 8th birthday celebration in Disney World with her family and the Disney Princesses. Since October 2015, Elsa has been fighting a courageous battle against AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia). Elsa has a lot in common with several of the princesses-she is brave like Merida, a warrior like Mulan, determined like Anna, fearless like Elsa, courageous like her favorite princess Belle and puts it all together with a beautiful smile like Ariel.

In addition to her magical lunch, Elsa and her siblings were given suitcases filled with new pajamas, blankets, swimsuits, beach towels, flip flops, and backpacks with activities and snacks for the plane ride.

Many heartfelt thanks to Dragonfly Fitness and Training, sponsors and supporters who helped Kellsie’s Hope grant Elsa's wish to go to Disney World with her family.

Beautiful Brynn in New York

At just 15 years old, Brynn’s battle with Childhood Cancer included a relapse from Ewings Sarcoma and complications resulting in her becoming paralyzed from the waist down.  Brynn’s initial wish was to have a spa lift that would assist her in and out of her hot tub that she enjoyed immensely. Kellsie’s Hope Foundation was in the processing of granting Brynn’s wish when her journey became more critical and her wish more urgent.  Brynn changed her wish to a New York trip to see Dear Evan Hanson on Broadway.   With little notice and only a few days to prepare, Kellsie’s Hope, with the assistance of some amazing friends and volunteers, was able to grant Brynn’s wish and send she and her parents to New York to create fun memories.

New York members of Kellsie’s Krew, Elpida and Jen, greeted Brynn and her family at the airport with gifts to start two days of surprises.  Brynn and her parents stayed at the Park Central Hotel, were chauffeured everywhere, received special backstage passes to Dear Evan Hanson on Broadway, enjoyed a personal guide at the Empire State Building and a private carriage ride through Central Park with their own private photographer.  That wasn’t all, though.  The highlight of Brynn’s trip was her beautiful smile lit up for all New York to see when her picture appeared on the NASDAQ building.

Kellsie's Hope is remembering the Haun family in our prayers. Brynn passed away just three weeks after her trip.  Thank you to all who had a part in making Brynn’s Wish possible and making long lasting memories for her parents.

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation relies on volunteers and donations to grant wishes and create fun memories for kids with cancer and their families.

Carlei and Sydney

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation said goodbye to two young ladies in February.  Carlei and Sydney received their angel wings only 4 days apart.

When Kellsie's Hope Foundation met 14 year old Carlei in August, 2016, she was battling Osteosarcoma. With all of her strength, Carlie fought her cancer as much as she could.

Sydney began fighting childhood cancer 3 years ago.  She had once said that she wanted to hear the roar of motorcycles in Heaven and we are confident she did when over 1,000 motorcycles escorted her to her final resting place.

Please join us in remembering Carlei and Sydney's families and friends in your prayers.

Carlei Huff

Kellsie's Hope Foundation would like to express our gratitude to Carlei Huff's family for the donations      Kellsie's Hope Foundation has received in memory of Carlei.  We offer you our deepest sympathies and heartfelt gratitude during your time of loss.
