Habits of Grace: An invitation from Bishop Michael Curry
As we learn how to adjust our lives given the reality of the coronavirus and the request to do our part to slow its spread by practicing social distancing, I invite you to join me each week to take a moment to cultivate a ‘habit of grace.’ A new meditation will be posted onlineon Mondays through May.
Mask Maker, Mask Maker… Make me a mask! When we return to in-person worship, it’s likely that we'll need to wear face coverings to protect the health of our community. If you can sew and have scrap fabric and elastic to donate, please consider stitching some face masks we can make available in church. Click here for a simple set of instructions.
Those of you who wish to keep current with your pledge may mail a check to the church office or donate online.Although our church may be closed temporarily, our staff continues to work remotely and other overhead expenses must be met. Thank you for your continuing support of the parish.
A Prayer for the Unemployed
Heavenly Father, we remember before you those who suffer want and anxiety from lack of work. Guide the people of this land so to use our public and private wealth that all may find suitable and fulfilling employment, and receive just payment for their labor, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
We pray for the special needs and concerns of this congregation, especially for Adrienne & Derrick, David, Phyllis & Tom, Sana & Bill, Angela, Arlys, Ed, Eric, Kyle, Celeste, Keary, Sherrilynn, Abby, Blake, Suzie, Donna, Conan, Gladys, Tina, Josie, Karen, and Charlie.
We pray for all victims of violence throughout the world, especially for those in homes oppressed by domestic violence.
We pray for all who have died, that they may have a place in your eternal kingdom, especially for Gay, and Josh.
We give thanks for all the blessings of this life, especially for Siri.
