Adapting to circumstances in these unprecedented times

Huge success: Virtual Nippers Presentation

Monica Bird and Carla Durnan did an amazing job live streaming the Nippers Presentation on Facebook. Lots of our families and community members watched the event in real time, however if you have not had a chance to see it click the image to take you to Facebook and watch the replay.
Nippers Coordinator Carla Durnan created a video of the fun that was had, although short-lived it was a great start to Summer. Lots of photos and memories as well as snippets from our coaches and committee members.

A massive thank you to Carla Durnan and Monica Bird for making this years Nippers season a memorable one by celebrating with a fantastic online presentation. Both ladies have done an incredible job throughout the season, their first time in the leadership role, Carla and Monica have adapted their plans at every obstacle and challenge thrown at them. Of course Nippers wouldn't happen without our tireless volunteers in the water, on the sand, in the clubhouse and behind the scenes - a big thank you to everyone who has helped out this season!

Congratulations go to all our Nippers, it was a great start to the season, we experienced terrific weather and surf conditions before we were forced to cease our beach operations. Well done to all of the deserving recipients of ribbons and medals, especially that of U12 Sara James our 2019-20 Nipper of the Year.

Congratulations to Nipper of the Year, Sara James.

Sara is in the Under 12's and has been a smiling face in the club for many seasons. Nominated for her outstanding sportsmanship and quest for improvement.

Ribbons will be sent to Clubs for distribution later.

We're not sure exactly what season 2020/2021 might look like yet, but discussions are underway.
