Moving Forward Forum Video Online
We express our gratitude to those who tuned in for New Pioneers’ first digital Moving Forward Forum last week. Panelists Ashley Greathouse, from Bluegrass Lands Conservancy, and Billy Van Pelt, with American Farmland Trust, provided valuable information about the basics of conservation easements, as well as the importance of land conservation in general.
Unable to join us? No worries! A video of the forum is available on the New Pioneers website, along with other helpful resources about conservation easements.

Board officers for the coming year were also recently elected, with President Jessie Rathburn, Vice President Anne Harrison, Secretary Joyce Minkler, and Treasurer Dave Kessler filling those roles.
While we extend congratulations to our new members and officers, we also share our appreciation with Anne Harrison for her two years of service as board president and Anne Chaney for her year of service as board treasurer. Both played tremendous roles in New Pioneers’ successful leadership transition and building the our financial resiliency.
