Advisory for Skyline Drive: A significant design element of the US-89 and Harrison Boulevard project includes the installation of an underground pedestrian tunnel east of Skyline Drive. This work requires narrowed traffic lanes, traffic shifts, and lane closures. Beginning Sunday night, July 5, ALL LEFT TURN MOVEMENTS will be temporarily eliminated at the Skyline Drive and US-89 Intersection. To help alleviate congestion, 1550 East will be fully operational, including a temporary left-turn light on westbound US-89 to accommodate left hand turns at 1550 East. UDOT recommends the following detours:
•    A - US-89 Westbound (Walmart) - Proceed through Skyline Drive to 1550 East, turn left at 1550 East
•B - US-89 Eastbound (to Chevron) - Turn right onto 1550 East and proceed left on Skyline Drive
•C - Skyline Drive (from Chevron) to access Southbound US-89 - Cross US-89 to 1550 East, turn right to US-89, turn right at US-89 or use Wasatch Dr.
•D - Skyline Drive (from Walmart) to access Northbound US-89 - Continue across US-89 to Wasatch Drive, then left onto 5600 South, continue to Harrison Blvd.
Please expect delays while this traffic pattern is in place. Emergency Services have been notified of this traffic pattern. It is anticipated this detour will be in effect through Mid-August. UDOT has established a project-dedicated public involvement team for this project. You can learn more or ask questions using the information below.
