Arheološki laboratorij – Lončarija brončanog i starijeg željeznog doba

Okrugli stol i radionicu naziva „Arheološki laboratorij – Lončarija brončanog i starijeg željeznog doba“ organizirali su Muzeja grada Kaštela u suradnji s Institutom za arheologiju. Okupljanje kolega arheologa provest će se u sklopu projekta Interreg Value (Italija-Hrvatska) i projekta Hrvatske zaklade za znanost (UIP 2020-02-3637) „Tehnološke značajke i lončarske prakse u prapovijesnim lončarskim tradicijama na području Hrvatske“.
Cilj je započeti komunikaciju među kolegama koji imaju iskustva u obradi keramičke građe te dobro poznaju karakteristike lončarije brončanog i starijeg željeznog doba s područja sjeverne i srednje Dalmacije i njezinog zaleđa.

Archaeological Laboratory - Pottery of the Bronze and Early Iron Age

The round table and workshop called "Archaeological Laboratory - Pottery of the Bronze and Early Iron Ages" were organized by the Museum of the City of Kastela in cooperation with the Institute of Archeology. The gathering of fellow archaeologists will be carried out as part of the Interreg Value project (Italy - Croatia) and the project of the Croatian Science Foundation (UIP 2020-02-3637), "Technological features and pottery practices in prehistoric pottery traditions in Croatia"
The goal is to start communication between colleagues who have experience in the processing of ceramic materials and are well acquainted with the characteristics of pottery of the Bronze and Early Iron Ages from the area of northern and central Dalmatia and its hinterland.

U Muzeju grada Šibenika 11. studenoga 2021. godine otvorena je izložba "Vlakom prema jugu. 60 godina suradnje Instituta za arheologiju i Muzeja grada Šibenika". Izložbom su "ispričana" zajednička arheološka istraživanja koja su se provodila od 50ih godina 20. st. i to kroz arhivsku i fotografsku građu, novinske izvatke, terensku dokumentaciju, onodobne i suvremene video snimke te sjećanja sudionika istraživačkih kampanja. Uz to predstavljen je i uži izbor predmeta pronađenih na lokalitetima u Danilu i na Murteru, a s obzirom na novi zamah suradnje izložbom su prikazani i prvi rezultati novih istraživanja na lokalitetima Mukoše u Gorišu i na Danilu.
Izložbu, koju je moguće posjetiti do 15. prosinca, otvorili su ravnatelji obiju institucija, Marko Dizdar (IARH) i Željko Krnčević (MGŠ) te autori izložbe - Goranka Lipovac Vrkljan, Ana Konestra i Toni Brajković. Izložba je organizirana u sklopu proslave 60 godina osnivanja Instituta za arheologiju.

By train to the south. 60 years of collaboration between the Institute of Archaeology and the Šibenik town museum

At the Šibenik town museum on November 11th 2021 the exhibition "Vlakom prema jugu. 60 godina suradnje Instituta za arheologiju i Muzeja grada Šibenika" ("By train to the south. 60 years of collaboration between the Institute of Archaeology and the Šibenik town museum") was opened. The exhibition aims at narrating how collaborative archaeological research was carried out since the 1950s through archival and photo documentation, newspaper articles, field notes, modern and historic videos, and accounts of the participants to those research campaigns. To these, just a brief selection of finds related to excavations at Danilo and Murter has been added. Due to a recent revival of the collaboration between the two institutions, results of new fieldwork at Mukoše in Goriš and at Danilo are also presented.
The exhibition was opened by the Directors of both institutions, Marko Dizdar (IARH) and Željko Krnčević (ŠTM) and the exhibition authors - Goranka Lipovac Vrklja, Ana Konestra and Toni Brajković. The exhibition is organised within the celebrations for the 60 years of establishment of the Institute of Archaeology.
