Internet Week Denmark

The crowdsourced festival IWDK (Internet Week Denmark) takes place April 19 - 23, 2017. More than 6000 people join over 100 events for presentations, conversations, and inspiration about how to build a smarter tomorrow.

IWDK wants to put the importance of digitalization on the national agenda. The festival is all about how technology affects our lives and the way we do business. It’s a festival that connects business, creative and social leaders with entrepreneurs, opinion-makers, and citizens in shaping the digital age.

Local Rock Stars

Join us for the second one-day event at Stakladen, Aarhus University with presentations by local rock stars about Technology, User Experience, and Quality Assurance.

Local Rock Stars is an event co-organized by eBay, IT Minds, Creuna, Vertica, Stakladen, it-forum and IWDK. All speakers are software developers, UX and interaction designers, QAs and testers from local based companies. This is not a commercial event, therefore there are few and simple rules like no sales pitches or marketing promotions.

This year, the theme is mobile experiences. We are very excited to be welcoming some of the local ‘rock stars’ on stage and hear their best tips and tricks for how to create valuable mobile experiences. This is a crowdsourced event; a great thanks to all the organizers including the speakers. The event is for free!

Become an intern at IWDK

We are looking for an event planner and communication intern for spring 2017.

As part of the IWDK team, you will work with strategic communication, and coordinate the next digital festival held in April 19 - 23, 2017. As an intern at IWDK, you must be able to focus on multiple tasks at one time, and thrive at a workplace that changes in relation to assignments and time – not one day will look the same. Read more and apply for the internship here. We are a lot of fun and good work experience!
"During my internship, I studied International Communication and Multimedia
at Aarhus University and got a great understanding of different fields.
However, to understand a field adequately I need to
work with it, and be
involved in it. My internship
at IWDK gave me the opportunity to learn things
while doing them, which I see as the best way to acquire new skills and knowledge."

- Nanna Lund Lauridsen, former intern at IWDK
