Next FSA Meeting:

Supper Club: 

Want an excuse not to cook the Monday after Jubilation?! 

Order lunch AND dinner from Garibaldi’s on Monday, November 7, and 20% of the proceeds will go right back to our school! You can dine-in, carry out or
have it delivered!! Just let them know it is for SJS FSA. 

Our first Supper Club at Grill 12 raised $206 for FSA! Thank you to Kristene Thieman and Sarah Macklin for organizing these! 

Coffee Connection: 

Wednesday, November 9: All school families are encouraged to attend mass at 8:35am and then stay afterwards to grab a cup of coffee and connect with one another. Little ones are always welcome!

Outdoor Environment:

A big Thank You goes out to Lauren Orf for constantly beautifying the outside of our school! The fall planters and garden beds are gorgeous and such a lovely way to welcome our school families and staff each day. Thank you, Lauren! 


Artist Awareness:

Thank you to Sarah Beckman for running our Artist Awareness Program! 

We are excited to see all these masterpieces come home.

VIP Fall Tailgate Recap:

Thank You to Krystal Funk, Lauren Marino and Caroline McCarthy for throwing an awesome Tailgating event last weekend! The bags tournament, ax throwing, auction items, BBQ (done by the Men of St. James), projected football games, DJ and more all made it such a fun night! 


We Need You!!! 

The school is looking for FIVE volunteers to help the younger grades navigate the hot lunch line during lunch periods. The hours are 12:15p - 1:15p and we would need volunteers who could commit to a minimum of one day/week. (One person would volunteer every Monday, another on Tuesdays etc.) 

This would be a huge help to ensure that the little ones can get through the lunch line and have enough time to eat. Please contact FSA if you are interested in helping out:

Secretary's Report!!!

The St. James Directory is being printed as you read!  Be on the lookout for your copy in your child’s backpack in the next two weeks.

Thank you again to Jim and Lily Meyers for their continued support and production of the directory.


Tresurer's Report:

Purchase Report:
It’s been a great start to the school year! Here’s what some of our budget has gone to already:

  • Angels in the Classroom - Teachers have been spending their $300 gift from FSA towards new classroom supplies and materials
  • Birthday gifts - Our Staff Celebrations Committee is gifting all aides and non-homeroom teachers with a gift card and sweet treat on their birthdays
  • Cultural Arts Assembly - On September 30th, our students got to watch and participate in a wonderful presentation from Madala Arts
  • Breakfast for the school and parish staff during the October staff retreat
  • Supporting Larger School Purchases:
    • The new Wonders literacy curriculum
    • New storage and cabinetry for the art room
    • New rugs for Mrs. Fallon’s classroom:



Thank you to all of the wonderful committee chairs that have stepped up to help this year!  Please reference the Committee Chair Guide for information about getting reimbursed after your event.
