Hello SJS Parents,

Today is the second to last day of Trimester 1. I cannot believe how fast this school year has been moving.

In the coming days, we will be sending out a standalone email with the links to schedule you Parent-Teacher conferences. This year we will be offering two days of conferences. Monday 11/21 conferences will be offered from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm in person or via zoom (you will choose your optio when you sign up). Tuesday 11/22 conferences will be from 9:00 am -1:00 pm but the only meeting option will be via zoom call. All conferences will be 15 minutes long for in person and zoom conference.

As a reminder, tomorrow is $2 (or more) red, white and blue day to benefit Veterans. Students can wear a red, white or blue shirt with uniform bottoms.

It is a great day to be a Bulldog!

School Council Meeting Moved

Due to scheduling issues, the November school council meeting was moved to Monday, November 14 at 7:00 pm in the parish board room. All are welcome to attend.
Lost and Found

As a reminder, please put names on/in your children’s belongings such as coats, sweatshirts, water bottles, etc. We are experiencing a higher influx of lost and found items that are unlabeled. Please check the lost and found for any missing items before they get donated to the uniform exchange.

The 7th/8th grade Dance is tomorrow night, Friday, from 7-9 in the gym. The 8th Grade Student Leadership team chose the theme of "Black and Blue" so wear as much of those colors as you can! Phones will be collected at the door and kept securely in baskets in the library for the duration of the dance unless there's an emergency.
FSA Meeting Tuesday, Nov. 15
All parents are encouraged to come to our next FSA meeting on Tuesday, 11/15 at 7pm in the library. We'll keep the meeting to one hour, so please try to join us to hear about what's going on and offer any input.
Supper Club
Thank you to those that have participated in Supper Club these past two months! We've already brought in $500 from just two nights of eating out! We are looking forward to the next one.

Thank you to the St. James community for your unwavering support of Jubilation! Our school and parish families came together and gave generously of their time, talent, and treasure – making Jubilation a success! We can’t thank everyone enough for volunteering, donating or bidding on auction items, sponsoring, and donating to our paddle raises. A special thank you to this year’s chair couples: Mike & Krista Coleman and Steve & Patti Denten. Together we succeeded in raising over $230,000 which will support school upgrades, tuition assistance, St. Vincent de Paul / PADS ministry programs, and charitable organizations.

If you won an auction item and still need to pick it up, please email and we can schedule a time. If you work for a company that has a matching gift program – please apply for your matching gift! It could potentially double – or even triple – your gift depending on your companies’ program! To apply for your matching gift you will need St James’ EIN number (36-6008372). Please reach out to if you need help researching your companies’ program.
