PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello SJS Parents,

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving! This week is the first week of advent. Our teachers will be working with the kids each week to prepare their hearts for the coming of our Lord.

At St. James, one of our ongoing priorities is the safety of all in our building and we are continually looking for new opportunities to make our school even safer. Beginning next week (Monday Dec. 5), we will be updating our protocols for visitors entering our building. Below are a few of the bullet points of the changes that will be made when visitors enter our building.
  • We are going to ask that visitors to talk to the front office staff through the passthrough window and are only buzzed in if they are dropping off/picking up a child, have a meeting, or any other need to access the building.
  • If a visitor needs to come into the building, they will now be wearing red visitor lanyards after signing in. Part of this process will also be leaving a drivers license or keys with the front desk until the visitor signs out.
  • Workers from 3rd party vendors will have to run their ID's through a scanner that will run an instant background check.
We will continue to update everyone as we make adjustments to keep our building as safe as possible.

It is a great day to be a Bulldog!
