Issue #29
Weekly newsletter for black women in tech.

Hey <<First Name>>! ,

YAY, ok, phew 😅 I was able to get out the newsletter this week!

🎙This week we will have 3 podcast release in harmony with Defcon this week. I had the ultimate privilege to interview some of your favorite security professionals setting pathways for black women in tech! We had two released today and one more heading your way tomorrow💃🏾! While you are on your way home, have a listen on Anchor or your favorite podcast app  🎧 on your way home. Spotify | Apple Podcast | Google Podcast | Breaker.

Next week's issue we'll include more info on our guest, for now, its a surprise and you'd have to tune in 😏.

😔Right as I almost sent this email out, news broke that Toni Morrison passed away. Toni Morrison was an author who made black people her focus and our very existence as a work of art, If you don't know who she is, read more about her here.  As well as a quote of hers that hold dear us, one of the originators of paying it forward ❤️.

"I tell my students, ‘When you get these jobs that you have been so brilliantly trained for, just remember that your real job is that if you are free, you need to free somebody else. If you have some power, then your job is to empower somebody else." - Toni Morrison

On that note.

Enjoy,
