Happy Tuesday! I'm going to just start my message with Lizzo again, because this is literally my energy this week, and why the heck not.

I've been attending some pitching events and tech events the past few weeks. Next week I am very excited to participate in one of the largest conferences in eastern europe, Techsylvania. It's not clear if I will be pitching my company, Culturefiy 😬. But just in case, I have been working on my pitch deck and ordered some swag. I usually share these updates over IG. This one is special as I was asked to write, vlog, and blog about my experience.

Apple's WWDC19, did you watch yesterday? I have to admit I am such a nerd when it comes to watching or going to conferences. It was around 9pm my time and I had snacks and all. Favorite parts:

  • Privacy updates and single-sign-on. Move over Okta and Onelogin? Apple did not come to play with features such as the ability to hide your email during sign-ups by generating a burner.

  • Swift's new framework, SwiftUI with drag and drop capabilities and real time testing 🤯.

  • The reveal of the new and most powerful Mac Pro, did you all hear the crowd murmurs when they said the price? I laughed so hard.

  • And of course the Patrick Star memoji cameo.

On Social Media
I came across this story by Tae'lur Alexis. It's the women in tech horror story you NEED to read about and share. The sexism in tech is quite real. But this story takes many twists and turns. I have to say Tae'lor Alexis is one of the strongest black women in tech i've seen, and I love that despite her experiences, she highlights the good and why to continue in tech. Check out the thread, here. Have you been through something similar and want to share your experience. Shoot me an email.

On Instagram, I came across, Black Women Animate, Founded by visionary creative Taylor K. Shaw, leader in the world of conscious content, media, activism and empowering women—Black Women Animate is the first and only production company designed to improve the representation of black women in animation. Check out the mention in Vice. They have Merch coming this July 👏🏾!

Data Science is pretty hot right now, this course was recommended to me to share with community from a well respected woman in the. Check out this complete bootcamp on sale right now on Udemy if you want to know how to get a jump start in Data. I don't have a huge interested in data personally, but I did buy it because it is something I feel I should know a bit more about.

I shared with you ladies in the slack community. I can't believe I'm typing this. But things are beginning to settle for me.
