Shaun Spiers appointed as our new executive director
We are delighted to announce that Shaun Spiers will be Green Alliance's new executive director. He is a highly accomplished chief executive, having led the Campaign to Protect Rural England since 2004, and is widely respected amongst the sector and beyond.

He  joins us at a critical moment for the future of the UK environment. He brings vision and strong leadership, as well as excellent political skills and judgement. He has a wealth of experience in building effective coalitions and achieving political change.

Shaun will take up the post on 5 June 2017. In the interim period, Tamsin Cooper and Leah Davis will continue to serve as joint acting directors. 

Green Alliance’s chair, Dame Fiona Reynolds, commented: “We are delighted that someone with Shaun’s experience, skills and insight will be leading Green Alliance at this crucial time for environmental policy.”
