Membership Renewals Due Now
Your membership in BFSC and USFS will expire on June 30. You must renew your membership in order to be able to test and compete after that date. Please mail renewal form, including the signed SafeSport Code of Conduct, and payment to Judy Carrig ASAP. Membership packets are available on our website at: https://baltimorefigureskatingclub.com/?page_id=12
We hope that everyone is staying healthy and active during this time. As of now, we have no news on the reopening of area rinks. Mt. Pleasant was scheduled to be closed this summer for renovation (and we understand work is continuing) so we do not expect it to reopen before September. Our fall club ice at Mt. Pleasant and Ice World is scheduled to start in September. At this time, we don't know what, if any, capacity or schedule restrictions we may have. As soon as we have news, we will share it with you via email, our website and our social media.
USFS has canceled the National Qualifying Series, the National Solo Dance Series and Final and the National Showcase Competition. At this time, they are planning for Regionals and Sectionals for singles, pairs and dance to proceed as normal. Updates are being posted at: https://www.usfigureskating.org/coronavirus
Several BFSC coaches are offering virtual off-ice conditioning classes, which are a great way to stay fit and be ready to return to skating. All ages and levels are welcome.
