According to the Governor's office, phase 1B of the Covid vaccine is going to roll out in the next ten days. Here's what you need to know
The next group of Coloradans who will receive the vaccine includes even more essential workers – covering all teachers, Coloradans over 70, health care workers, first responders, agriculture workers, transportation employees, essential government employees, as well as those working with homeless populations and in other high-density settings.
The COVID-19 vaccine has been proven safe and effective through rigorous scientific trials, and with this breakthrough in science, we are maybe just a few months from the end of the pandemic. Every Coloradan should be eager to receive it when it is their turn in line.
However, we are not in the clear yet, and we must remain vigilant and continue to social distance and wear masks when leaving our home until everyone can receive the vaccine.
Thank you to the healthcare workers and scientists who have gotten us this far.
Please be safe this New Years', congregate with only those in your household, and get tested and quarantine if you suspect you have been in contact with someone with Covid.
