House District March 23rd Newsletter
This is an unprecedented time we are living in, you or people you know have been quarantined to your homes, and many of you have lost your jobs for the next month. Additionally, this is an election year. Democracy is contingent on being by the people and for the people. How can we gather and share our ideas when it is unsafe to gather?
Just before the General Assembly adjourned, we passed a law that will allow us to hold virtual assemblies, and allow parties to nominate candidates for the June ballot.
Delegates to Denver County's Assembly will receive an online ballot via e-mail this Thursday, March 26th, and will have until Saturday, March 28th at 3 PM, to submit their ballot. There are NO proxies allowed due to the nature of the virtual meeting.
If you are a delegate and would rather receive a mailed paper ballot or vote by phone on Saturday, March 28th, or have not received instructions via e-mail contact email@example.com or call 303-830-8242.
