The special session allowed us to create programs for helping Coloradans in need. We passed ten bills providing $300 million in aid. This website lists the aid resources currently available and provides information on how to apply.

Please note that small businesses will receive aid from local governments. For more information on if your business qualifies and how to apply, click here

And for more resources and answers about COVID-19 specific funding and resources including loans, reopening guidance, layoff alternatives, the Paycheck Protection Program, debt relief, and more, visit the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade’s website:  https://choosecolorado.com/covid19/

SB20-001 also outlined relief for art, and minority businesses information on those aspects follows:

  1. Arts & Culture Relief: OEDIT's Colorado Creative Industries' division launched the applications for this relief today, and all information, including eligibility, application, process, etc., can be found here: https://coloradocreativeindustries.org/opportunities/colorado-arts-relief-fund/. The application deadline for that relief is January 8, 2021. Infographics and promotional materials are forthcoming.
  2. Minority Business Relief: Implementation of this funding is temporarily delayed. In the meantime, I recommend that any interested constituents sign up for OEDIT's email updates for notice on this fund, as well as for info on other financial resources. You can direct them to OEDIT's resource page, at the bottom of which they'll see a tab labeled "Connect with Us" to sign up for these updates: https://choosecolorado.com/covid19/
The small business navigator team is always available to speak one-on-one to Coloradans about navigating any federal, state, and local resources. We're growing that team now with volunteer support in anticipation of increased call volume. Hotline: (303) 860-5881; Email: oedit_sbnavigator@state.co.us.

For information on the other two components of SB20B-001:
  1. Tax Relief for Restaurants, Bars, and Food Trucks: Please see the Department of Revenue's info page here: https://tax.colorado.gov/covid19-sales-tax-relief
  2. Small Business Relief: Please see the Department of Local Affairs' info page here: https://cdola.colorado.gov/small-business-relief
