Start your New Year With a New Language!

It can be hard to turn New Year resolutions into reality. A lot of people try to learn a new language but have no idea where to start.

Mango can help!

Mango is a free language service brought to you by your library. You can learn over 70 languages, all offered through specific lesson plans, like “conversations,” “legal” “medical,” and more! Our favorite is, of course, “Spanish for Librarians.” If you’re using the Mango app (available through the Apple Store, Google Play, and the Amazon app store), you can also download lessons and take them anywhere, even if you don’t have internet!

To get started, follow this link, enter your library card and pin, set up your account, and get learning! And Happy New Year!

with Consumer Reports

If you’re looking to buy something big (or small), Consumer Reports is a good first stop. They have great product overviews regarding what to look for as well as recommended products and ratings.  Their in-depth analyses of various products and brands allow you to make informed decisions on any major purchase. Whether you’re looking for a new computer,  mattress, or snow tires, Consumer Reports should be your go-to website to compare prices and functionality.

The best part? You can access Consumer Reports right from our website! Just click the Consumer Reports Logo on the right-hand side of our home page and enter your library card number to get started.

The Library is closed on Monday, January 21st, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
