Seed Library

Our seed library is now open to the public! Each month, you can choose up to 4 packets of seeds to plant, and we ask that you 'return' your seeds by donating your saved seeds or replacement packets to the library. To find out more, check out our website by clicking the image above.

Adult Craft Night

Thursday, May 25th

Air Dry Clay Trinket Bowl

You're invited to join us for a series of fun adult crafts! All supplies provided. Ages 16 and up welcome. Registration is required for this program. Please email programs@townofulsterlibrary.org to register.
Teen Programs

Game On!
Saturdays from 1:30-2:30PM.

Join us for a YA program for ages 13 years and up. Sign up to play card games and board games! Check our website's calendar to see what games are being played.

You can register or make a suggestion for a game to play by emailing Josh at tech@townofulsterlibrary.org or by calling us at 845-338-7881.

Youth Programs

After School Program

The After School Program for ages 5-12 years will meet on Tuesdays from May 2nd-16th & 30th from 4:00pm - 5:00pm.

This month we will also have a bike safety program with Tom Polk from the YMCA on Monday, May 22nd from 4-5 PM. Sign up for arts and crafts, or games! 

Registration is required 24 hours in advance!

Preschool Story Hour
May 2nd-30th
Tuesdays at 10:30 AM

Ms. Kelley will offer a musical story hour for children ages 3 – 5 years on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am. This early literacy story time includes stories, non-fiction books, felt board stories, songs and a take home craft kit.

Baby & Me Story Hour
May 3rd, 10th, 19th (Rescheduled to Friday), and 24th
Wednesdays at 10:30 AM


Ms. Kelley will offer a musical story hour for children ages birth – 2 years on Wednesday mornings at 10:30am. This early literacy story hour includes stories, nursery rhymes, songs, and a take home craft kit.

Browsing
Browsing is available at the Town of Ulster Library – look through our collection to find titles to read, watch, or listen to. If you need help finding an item, please ask a staff member at the circulation desk. 

The Reading Room is now available for studying, and can be reserved for meetings.

We suggest that all visitors (above age 2) to the library wear a mask, though masks are not mandatory for patrons.

Concerns, questions or suggestions? We encourage all Town of Ulster residents to attend a Library Board meeting. The board generally meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 4 PM.
