It's not far away now so I think we're allowed to start getting excited?

This newsletter is packed with the latest PTA XMAS info. Yep, it's a cracker!

Non-uniform day
Friday 25th November

On Friday 25th November the PTA are organising a(nother!) non-uniform day at school. In exchange for this pleasure, simply bring in a chocolate donation which will be a prize the PTA Chocolate Tombola stall at the NSPCC Xmas Fair the following day, Saturday 26th.
We welcome chocolate sweets in boxes, tins, bags, selections boxes, multi packs as well as individual bars (No biscuits or cakes though please)
PTA members will be collecting items at entrances to YrR, KS1, KS2 and the office on Friday morning to enable time for items to be ticketed. Many thanks for your support.

COULD YOU IMAGINE… Christmas dinner without a Christmas cracker? Well the PTA can't. Did you know that at the school Christmas dinner for the children the PTA use some of the money you help raise to pay for the crackers.

And what's one of the best things about crackers? The jokes! How about this one:

What kind of photo does Father Christmas like taking best?

As you have probably read above, the PTA are running a chocolate tombola at the NSPCC Xmas Fair in the Parish Hall on Saturday 26th November – this always proves to be a very popular stall with the children. Please come along and support the fair and our tombola all for a very good cause.

We are also raffling one of Mrs May’s AMAZING Christmas cakes. The cake will be on view in the school reception for you to marvel at (please try not to drool over it!). Raffle tickets will be on sale at school and at the fair, so plenty of opportunities to get some!
We still have a few more slots left to fill to run the stall. If you have 30 minutes to spare sign up via PTAsocial or email

Father Christmas can't do everything, and that's why he's got the PTA to help him! The PTA give money to every class in school to help pay for a Christmas present for your children! And we couldn't do that without your help - so thank you from us, the children and Father Christmas!
The children's Christmas gift fair is taking place on Wednesday 14th December.

It's one of their favourite things in the school calendar - a chance to go shopping and choose 2 gifts for their family and friends.

More information will follow soon but in the meantime, if you come across anything suitable to donate, please keep hold of it for us!
Believe it or not, the PTA are real human beings just like you, and are all parents of children at the school, just like you!

So did you know that DJ LOZ who DJs at all our parties and events is a parent and a member of the PTA? Hiring a DJ for events costs hundreds and hundreds of pounds, so we are lucky to have such a talented and willing chap on our books!

Despite having these great skills, he's also just a normal parent like the rest of us.

Perhaps you too have a particular talent or work in a line of business that could benefit the PTA and the school? If so we'd love to hear from you. But don't worry, we don't want to enrol you into anything you don't want to do. We just want to make the school as great as we can for all our children.
