Summer BBQ & farewell to Year 6
Friday 10th July from 6pm

Come along to our final event of the school year. As well as saying goodbye to Year 6 and wishing them well in their next school, it’s a fun and relaxed evening out for all the families across the school.

Tickets £3.50 include a burger in a roll and a sausage (freshly made from Treagust) and will be on sale in the playgrounds and school office from Wednesday 24th June.
Bring your own snacks, soft & alcoholic drinks, nibbles, picnic rugs and chairs. We'll have music, a family quiz, raffle with some great prizes and sweets on sale.
Again, we do need a little help so click here to volunteer on PTAsocial or email speak to one of the PTA

Your chance to make a difference

If you haven’t yet joined PTA social, we urge you to do so here. It not only lets you know what events are going on and when, but it also gives an insight to the activities and tasks that are needed to organise and put on all of our events.
As you’ll know we always need help – whether it’s in the background, running an event or becoming a committee member. So, please take a closer look at the events we already have on PTAsocial and see if there’s somewhere you can offer your help. We’ll also be asking for your fundraising ideas which we’ll put to the vote as well as a ‘wanted’ skills list.
Although membership of the PTA is automatic upon joining the school, we are always on the lookout for new Committee members to bring fresh ideas and an injection of energy to meetings. It’s rare a member makes every meeting or can get involved in every event and we wouldn’t expect you to. However, the more of us there are the more creative and efficient we become and the greater we can share the load.
To find out more about how you can help make a difference to St John’s school through fundraising activities, please speak to or email Anita King via and take a look at our website:
