Watching Sky Arts' TV programme Landscape Artist of the Year is one of the highlights of our Lockdown week so we are thrilled to share with you that "our" artist Jo Myles is appearing in tomorrow night's episode!
This popular TV show, presented by Joan Bakewell and Stephen Mangan, features professional and amateur artists participating in regional heats around the UK and aims to find the best landscape painter every year.
Jo was one of only 36 artists selected from 10,000 applicants to take part in this year's series, thanks to her stunning mixed media submission painting of Newhaven Docks.
Jo has been exhibiting with us for several years so we are delighted to collaborate with her in offering for sale her submission painting (pictured above with Jo) as well as other recent original works.
The body of work is available to view virtually via our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds (click on the links at the bottom of this newsletter) .
In the meantime, Jo's heat airs tomorrow, Wednesday 17th February, at 8pm on Sky Arts Channel, or via Freeview.
