DIRECTOR'S TIP: GET CONNECTED
by Gabriel, FCP National Co-Director & Director of Create, Minister, Teach!
Each year, one of my team's most anticipated traditions is attending a creative ministry festival. While it's a lot of work to coordinate travel, budget,  and rally the troops, I strongly feel that it's the best investment. Here's one reason why: I find myself surrounded by people who "get it."
They've been in my shoes, are wearing the same shoes or chucked them out for something completely different.

Many times though, between rallying the team for lunch, or nervously preparing for competition, we are missing our opportunity to connect with a leader that could be your next best friend, ally, prayer partner or mentor.

Even for your team, seeing other people their age also engaged in ministry can be so encouraging. So, don't miss out. Find a way to get connected today.

Our Facebook Group is a nice place to start. Our National Conference is even better!

PRAYER BOARD
  • Create, Minister, Teach! (California)
We are praising God for the opportunity we had to present at a small church in Fremont. The church has no children who attend the church but have 15-20 children from different churches and who do not attend church in their musical program. We had 50+ adults and parents join us for a special evening of ministry! Seeds are being planted. Please keep Alder Ave Baptist Church in prayer!
  • Sondra Gibson (Illinois)
We are praising God for the opportunity we had to participate in a "Single Moms' Morning Out." The mothers receive breakfast/lunch, spa services, a prayer room, and a car inspection and wash while their children enjoy different stations of activities. We presented 4 shows for pre-school and elementary children!
  • Todd Bennett (Tennessee)
We are praising God for the debut of our new program "Heavenly Bandstand."
How is God working in your ministry? Do you have a resource or video you'd like to share in a future newsletter?
