Dear Library Community,

Computer appointments are back! We are pleased to share that you can once again make a one-hour appointment to use one of our public computers to print, check email, work on your taxes, or whatever you need to do online. See below for hours and details.

Is your book club continuing to meet virtually? We have a new collection available for checkout: book club kits! These sets come with ten copies of the same book, a discussion guide, and a tote bag. We've got adult fiction and nonfiction for a variety of tastes. Contact the library to get the title list and learn more about borrowing one.

We've got free kids' activity kits from the Museum of Natural and Cultural History on "Oregon's Amazing Animals". Kits include fun take-home activities and educational materials. For ages 5+. Get one during curbside pickup hours while supplies last.

For the latest updates, follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. As always, check out our website for COVID-19 news and resources. We'll expand services as we can safely do so for patrons and staff.

Wear your mask, stay safe, and we can't wait to see you again soon!

PS--Don't forget to set your clocks ahead an hour on March 14!
Make a Computer Appointment
Mon-Fri, 11:30 AM & 5 PM
Need to print, check email, or use the internet? Make an appointment to use one of our computers! One-hour appointments twice daily. Call 541-997-3132 to reserve a time; walk-ins welcome as space allows.

Got your own device? You can also use our free public wifi in the parking lots of both our Florence and Mapleton locations. Look for the blue signs with more information.
Get Help Pre-Registering for COVID-19 Vaccine
Have you pre-registered for the COVID-19 vaccine with Lane County Public Health yet? You can do it online at or by calling 541-682-1380.

If you would like some assistance, we are happy to help you complete the brief process over the phone. Just give us a call at 541-997-3132 during open hours (Monday-Friday, 10 AM - 6 PM) and we can fill out the online form on your behalf by asking you a few basic questions.
  • Anyone can pre-register.
  • You don't have to be in a currently-eligible vaccine group.
  • Pre-registering won't schedule you an appointment, but it will put you on the list of interested recipients, and Lane County will be in touch with more information about eligibility and availability.
  • It gives the county a better idea of who is ready to receive the vaccine when it's available, and where to schedule clinics.
Learn more: Lane County Public Health.
It's Tax Time
We've got 2020 federal 1040 tax forms and instruction booklets at the library. Stop by during curbside hours to pick up a set, while supplies last.

AARP's local Tax-Aide program is completely booked for this season.
