Dmitry Grudsky
Dmitry Grudsky is a skilled artist who is passionate about creating art for public spaces. He brings over thirty years of successful, international practice to his art designs.  He uses mixed media and blends ancient Byzantine mosaic techniques with stained glass, mural painting and relief components in pieces that are visually stunning, strongly sculptural and surprisingly practical.  He also instructs adults in a variety of art forms, such as mosaic, wire sculpture, ceramics, painting and collage.

2018 Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout Week
Monday, July 30 - Friday, August 4

Outdoor exhibit and sale at South Shore Center ~ Saturday, August 5

The Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout Team is looking for people to host one (or more) artists during the Frank Bette Plein Air Paintout  Monday, July 30 – Friday, August 4, 2018. This is an exciting way to get to know the artists and see another side of the Paintout. Past Home Hosts have found this a very rewarding expeience.

If you have a guest room available and a sense of adventure, please consider housing a plein air artist this year or perhaps you have a neighbor, co-worker or family member who is in a position to help out.  For more details or any questions,  contact us at:

Please Help with Our Electrical Upgrade

As a non-profit, volunteer-driven art center, funding is often very tight for us. We also need to  face the realities of operating out of an 1898 Victorian building that requires frequent upgrading and maintenance. Our goal today is to raise $8500 to overhaul and upgrade our second floor electrical service (currently only 50 amp) and modify and install new classroom lighting. This will allow us to increase our class offerings and art group meeting space availability which in turn will increase our cash flow.
