April 14 • 4-6pm

I will be painting a scene to show how to incorporate figures in the surroundings.  When painting figures my emphasis will be on the gestures and proportions more than their appearance and details.

Alameda on Camera is an annual, juried event conducted throughout the City of Alameda.  For 48 hours, beginning 9:00 pm Friday and ending 9:00 pm Sunday, 48 photo-based adult artists and our youth artists roam the City of Alameda and capture images of neighborhood, favorite places, secret hideaways and, if they choose, spotlight families, friends and famous (and infamous!) town characters.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
Now that we have installed a new shed, volunteers are needed to help us create a new small patio where our old shed was located. We could use some strong backs to remove excess dirt, tamp it down and place pavers and bricks.  Then sweep sand to set the bricks.
