Kudos for all the advocacy work and for representing National Board in a way that impressed California's lawmakers.

In California’s budget, there is massive new support of $250M over 5 years for Board certification across the state, focused on equity, including:

• $25M in fee and candidate support

• $25,000 salary incentives for NBCTs in high need schools (with service commitment)

This is likely to lead to 10,000+ candidates and NBCTs in the state!
