A Very Brain Quest Summer

Summertime is for playing outdoors, the beach, and long, sun-filled days. But that doesn’t mean that learning should stop! Here, we like to celebrate summer Brain Quest style – by having fun and learning as we go! Play ball outside while working on your action verbs or spend a day at the beach and identify nouns. Check out the activity below, and turn every summer adventure into a Brain Quest adventure.

Duke it out with history! Here is another activity for summer fun with your kids: Imagine if Jackie Robinson and Amelia Earhart were competing in a talent show. Who would do better? Who is the most well rounded?

Mixing and matching 100 historical figures in 50 competitive categories, from Ping-Pong to climbing Mount Everest, Workman’s latest children's book, Who Wins?, turns history into a compelling game, which means kids learn while having fun in the process.
