Family and Children's Ministries Newsletter

Our First E-Newsletter

Communication is difficult in all church situations. This newsletter is to reach those working with children, families, and youth. It is to give those interested more insights into faith formation resources, opportunities, and programs. If you are reading this, then somewhere you have said you are interested in Family and Children's ministry. This newsletter is to expand upon the other important communication resources that include Disciples Home Mission Updates, Disciples News Service, Disciples Together, and Facebook groups such as the Disciples Care for Children group.

So: What Now?
Lots of articles, resources, and information cross your path daily, and it is difficult to read all of them and still serve the ministry you are called to serve. So, the purpose of this newsletter is to distill for you the newest, most helpful, and best faith formation resources and events which support your work and the work of those whom you serve.

At the moment, we want to share with you information about the following two subjects.
  1. The Evolution of this Bi-Monthly Newsletter
  2. The Evolution of our new Family and Children’s Ministry collaboration between the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ.
First, we are trying to determine the most effective ways to communicate with you so that we can inform you about our core values and vision and let you know about new resources for holistic faith formation. (Click here to continue reading...)
