Liz Perraud serves as Executive Director of GenOn Ministries, a nonprofit organization that partners with churches to nurture and deepen intergenerational Christ-centered community through training, resources, youth conferences, and support. Liz has more than 30 years of experience in the field of Christian faith formation and frequently speaks and leads training in the US and Canada. In her free time Liz enjoys volunteering in her church, hiking with her husband, and spending time with her granddaughter.
(2nd Monday) September 14th, 2:30 EST: The Generosity Project (Stewardship at Home for Families)
Linda Staats has a Masters degree in Human Development and the Family from the University of Nebraska, and minor degrees in Child Development and Gerontology, Linda brings a life-span approach to congregational ministry. She is known for the ability to combine research, resources, and theology and for connecting people’s own holy stories with God’s stories. The process of networking and facilitating groups, small or large, is life giving. My greatest joy is bringing people of all ages, 3-103, together for meaningful interaction.
October 5th, 2:30 EST: The Generative Church: Global Conversations about Investing in Emerging Generations Cory Siebel has devoted much of the last two decades to researching generational dynamics within society and the church. In 2003, he completed an M.Th. in Applied Theology at Spurgeon’s College in London. His thesis focused upon ministry among Gen Xers within local congregations. He later graduated with a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from the University of Pretoria in 2009. His dissertation explored the role of “intergenerational reconciliation and justice” in the renewal of older, established congregations. My doctoral research was supervised by Malan Nel, an internationally recognized intergenerational youth ministry specialist.
