Have you been reading? I know things are busy! Take a few moments, however, to enjoy the reflections from the first week of Light a Candle with Campers and celebrate this important ministry throughout our regions.
This year's Children's Sabbath celebration will be Sunday October 18,2020.
The Light a Candle Prayer Vigil uses a different focus scripture each week related to the overall theme as we prepare for Children's Sabbath. You may follow along each day with us online as daily reflections are posted. The devotions will begin Monday, September 21, 2020. http://lightacandle.blogspot.com/
Mark you calendars for the first Monday of each month! Next Gathering... Monday, October 5th

October 5th, 2:30 EST: The Generative Church: Global Conversations about Investing in Emerging Generations Cory Siebel has devoted much of the last two decades to researching generational dynamics within society and the church. In 2003, he completed an M.Th. in Applied Theology at Spurgeon’s College in London. His thesis focused upon ministry among Gen Xers within local congregations. He later graduated with a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from the University of Pretoria in 2009. His dissertation explored the role of “intergenerational reconciliation and justice” in the renewal of older, established congregations. My doctoral research was supervised by Malan Nel, an internationally recognized intergenerational youth ministry specialist. THANK YOU! We raised $1500 for Reconciliation Ministries with our Virtual 7K Solidarity Challenge.
