Your donations converted all lighting in the Park to meet the requirements of this historic designation. Friends' support also built an observation deck to house a high-powered telescope which was recently donated to the Park. These latest contributions, along with your previous support of our astronomy program, make you a true partner in providing visitors with a wondrous view of Killarney's starry night.
We look forward to working with the Friends to continue to grow our astronomy program, and invite you to explore these new enhancements the next time you're visiting the Park.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our summer events and programs. We had another great season. Here are some of the highlights.
Artist in Residence program More than 175 Park visitors connected with nature by attending free art lessons in the Park during four weeks of instruction from July to October. Special thanks to this year's volunteer artists: Jim Morlock, Danielle Gardner, Paul Harpley and Christy A. Smith.
More than 250 art lovers joined us at the annual art show and sale in late July. Eleven talented artists, including two new artists, shared the beauty of the landscape of Killarney and nature's wild spaces through their inspired works.
Nearly 300 visitors were treated to live music at the Park's amphitheatre with special performances by Ian Reid, Andy Lowe and Ian Tamblyn as well as performances by David Archibald and Whiskey Jack to celebrate the Ontario Parks 125th anniversary.
