Update: Research in the Park

We are excited to share that the eastern wolf (or the Algonquin wolf) is now classified as "threatened" on the Species at Risk in Ontario list under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Thanks to the work of Trent University's the Eastern Wolf Survey, and the support of Ontario Parks and FOKP, this species and their habitat are now protected under the ESA. Learn more about this exciting update.
