Hello Kickstart friends and supporters!

The most exciting news we have this month is that we have a new home! Kickstart is now part of the SpencerCreo Centre at 475 Main Street in Vancouver, which is supported by the SpencerCreo Foundation. We share space with eight fantastic non-profit organizations that are doing great work. Aboriginal Women's Action Network, Growing Chefs!, Justice for Girls, Mom2Mom Child Poverty Initiative, ONE TO ONE Literacy Society, SVP Vancouver, and Yo Bro Yo Girl. We are so lucky to be working beside these organizations. Check them all out.

A huge thank you to all the folks that came out to the gallery opening at The Gallery at The Cultch of the exhibition, Every Day in Every Way: exhibit one. It was so nice to see so many friends and supporters at the event.
The exhibition is on until August 27th. If you have not seen the show yet, make a point of it. Featured artists are Darren Andrychuk, Dawn Margaret Enman, Deborah Leigh, Trish Smith, Take5, and L.J. Throstle.

We are raising money right now to produce a box set of 5 art cards, featuring the work of 5 different artists who lives with disabilities. These card sets will be sold, as a fundraiser, to raise much needed operational funds for Kickstart. Our main cost at this stage is paying artists professional fees for the use of images, and of course, printing.

Every dollar helps us get closer to our goal so please consider making a donation at this time. If you are able to, donate $1, $5, $20 or $100. It all helps!
Thank you in advance.

Kickstart really needs...

1. A volunteer graphic designer. Primarily we use postcards, posters and evites for our marketing so we need someone to put this stuff together for us so it can go to the printer.
2. An administrative volunteer. We need help updating files, filing, some organizing, and archive work.
3. A fully accessible City.
If you able to help us out, please contact Yuri at kickstartdirector@gmail.com

Thank you so much!
