Our Fall Forum series focuses on the teachings of Micah 6:8, "what does the Lord require of your but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Over the Next 3 months, we will exploring the three actions we are called to through this verse. Starting this week we focus on "love kindness". Each week a member of our clergy will offer a reflection on the upcoming lesson. This week is Father Michael.

This Sunday we begin to look at kindness and mercy by studying forgiveness. The Tutu’s teach us in “The Book of Forgiving” that we all have a choice between two cycles in our lives, the revenge cycle and the forgiveness cycle. When we experience pain from a hurt, harm, or loss we can choose to reject our suffering by choosing the revenge cycle. Or we can choose to face it and move towards healing in the forgiveness cycle.
Look over this diagram and see how you relate to these two cycles. To learn more join us this Sunday at our Forum on Zoom.
