Tip: (For women) Your brain is your biggest sex organ
 
In honor of this week's podcast episode, I'm talking about sex. (Missed the episode - listen here!)

I hear from so many couples that their sex life is not where they'd like it to be. In general, for men, they're not getting enough of it. For women, their desire just isn't there.

So the best way to connect inside the bedroom: start outside the bedroom. It's the little things, the small things often (one of our tips in The Ultimate Relationship webinar, based on John Gottman's work); it's the ways we connect all day long - the "thinking about you" texts mid-day, the foot rub while watching tv, the eye contact while saying "I love you." It all matters.

And why? Because for women, their brain is their biggest sex organ. It's about being seen, being heard, being validated, it's the acts of service, the words of affirmation (I know...we want like all 5 love languages, right?).

But it's true...connect so you can really connect. Vulnerability breeds intimacy. Connection breeds intimacy. Quality time breeds intimacy.

So go get to it! ;)
