As the holidays soon approach, it can bring up a lot of anxiety for many people.
Tip: Honor Whatever is Arising
Whether you're experiencing family struggles, are an introvert having to muster through holiday parties, or feel lonely this time of year, I invite you to honor whatever is arising.
Check your expectations at the door, and do your best to let go of judgement if you can, and release yourself of the obligatory pleasantries that this time of year often necessitates.
I give you permission to honor all your emotions and your needs. (And by honor, I mean allow and accept them.)
Embrace them all for they are all part of being human. Be gentle to yourself.
Once you embrace and honor your what you are feeling, try to communicate healthy boundaries so you can practice self-care, and how to be self-protective, if necessary.
This is a great opportunity to not try harder, but to try different.
