Tip: Create Rituals

There's a ritual I love each for the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashana, (the Jewish New Year, which just happened this week) where you cast away into a body of water a rock, or stick, or a leaf that represents what you no longer want to carry with you into the new year. I always feel so good after doing this.

I love creating ritual. There is something powerful in setting intentions in a tangible and experiential way.

Ritual can be done daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, depending on what it is you are setting intentions for or what it is you are wanting to let go of. Or perhaps you want to creates a ritual of acknowledgment or awareness.

Regardless of what it's for, rituals help to keep us present.

I invite you to think of the rituals in your life (or the lack thereof) and see how through them, you can practice being more mindful, aware, and conscious.
