Tip: Perform Small Things Often
Relationships can be REALLY hard. They take time, effort, work, dedication, the ability to grow, sometimes they need space, effective communication...the list goes on.

And when we give time, effort and attention to our relationship, it is easy to think that we need to do big acts to be noticed or appreciated.

However, research shows that in fact the opposite is true. It's small things often that make the biggest impact in filling up your positive relational bucket.

So what does a "small thing often" look like for your loved one? Leave them a note on the bathroom mirror, massage their feet during your favorite TV show, empty the garbage or dishwasher without being asked, send a kind text during the day, make eye contact, pause to give an intentional hug before leaving in the morning, say Thank Your for things they are supposed to be doing...I think you can get the point.
