Tip: Whichever One You Feed...

There is a great Native American fable in which a young child asks their elder, "If there is a wolf of love and a wolf of hate inside each of us, which one is more powerful?"

The elder responds by saying, "Whichever one you feed."

This story is so subtle and yet sooooooo powerful. Our mind is going to create so many thoughts (between 50,000-70,000 to be exact) and the ones that we give the most attention to will be the ones that will have the most power.

When you can recognize the power that you have in your own outcomes, the more you'll realize that you don't need to be so afraid of what is coming up all on its own.

It's not what's arising that matters, it's how you relate to it that makes the biggest impact. So in knowing that there is a whole range of emotions, thoughts, distractions, sensations, experiences, etc... that are part of the human experience, choose to feed the ones that bring you the most peace, contentment, joy, presence and love.
