Happy 2019!!

I hope that this message finds you well and that you had an enjoyable holiday season and a happy new year!

When I first started, the instruction was to develop a mindfulness practice was to meditate for 20-40 minutes per day. Every teacher I had gave this standard response, and honestly, I just didn't buy it. It didn't work for me (and I figured it didn't work for many others either!) so I started a practice that I could be successful in each and every day, and it literally takes me less than 30 seconds.

And you want to know something? This daily practice has literally changed my life.

I'm not kidding. I know this for certain. It changed my patterns of thought, where I focused my attention, how I view myself, and my ability to practice self-compassion...and so much more!

So, I do 3 separate things as I awake in the morning, before I even get out of bed. 

The first is a heart-opener meditation. (Read here if you want to hear about how I burst into tears the first time I ever did a heart-opener.) The second is a loving-kindness practice. And the third is an intention setting

I think that with these three daily practices, you will have a very solid foundation for being more mindful, more aware, more intentional, less reactive, more compassionate to yourself and others, and most importantly you'll be able to live a conscious life.

I'm going to be offering a 21-day meditation challenge starting on January 10th to guide you through developing these profound tools, and more. It's my hope that 2019 is THE year - YOUR year - to finally break free of the unskillful habits and patterns that are no longer serving you, and finally get to where you want to be. It's possible, and I'm here to guide you.
