Join the PTSA and Take Advantage of MATCHING FUNDS

Families, please consider joining the PTSA and donating now!  Two donors have graciously agreed to match 1:1 all membership dues and donations in September.  For every member, they will donate $12.  Please encourage your extended family to join the PTSA to directly support our students.  For every $1,000 in donations, they will match an additional $1,000, totaling $2,000 for the PTSA to spend on students this year.  The PTSA will use these funds to provide a myriad of educational opportunities, college preparatory services, and grants for classes and student-led organizations.

"School is the central focus of our children's lives. In the middle of a pandemic, an economic crisis and a political crisis, Lowell High School is tasked with a much more difficult challenge than usual this year. Our children, our teachers and our community all need school to succeed. Lowell PTSA is trying to fill in many gaps for our students and our families, and they need your support. If you are lucky enough to have some dollars to spare, please donate to the PTSA."  - Michael Rosenfeld, parent of a 10th grader

Legislative Advocacy Committee

PTSA is a student advocacy association - its legislative mission is to speak on behalf of all students and youth at the local, state and federal levels. One of the Purposes of PTSA is “to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.” PTSA promotes and encourages legislative advocacy for the education and welfare of all children and youth. The Lowell PTSA’s Legislative Advocacy Committee will be focusing on voter registration for the 2020-2021 school year. Through programs such as voter registration drives, phone and email banking campaigns, and position papers, this committee will promote civic engagement and create a space for Lowell students and parents to voice their opinions on legislation.
