Now it's November...

The days are getting shorter but there are plenty of ways to keep busy, particularly with the events calendar we have coming up! We're well into autumn and that means fireworks, hearty meals and getting organised for Christmas.

November news!

We have some exciting updates for all our foodies...

A huge congratulations to our Michelin-starred wonders! This year The Walnut Tree have held onto their 2008 award, and the Crown at Whitebrook have a NEW Michelin Star. There are also a number of our local pubs included in the 2015 Michelin Eating Out in Pubs Guide such as the Raglan Arms in Llandenny, The Inn at Penallt and the Bell at Skenfrith

With the temperatures dropping, there's nothing quite like tea and cake to warm you up a bit and Aunt Martha's Victorian Tea Rooms have just announced their new winter menu! Their Christmas high tea at £17 per head is now available, be sure to book ahead!

Special offers - see all offers on our website.

Autumn Leaves Breaks at Tintern Abbey Cottage - Visit Tintern Abbey across the road and have teas with homemade cakes at the White Monk. Walk up to the Devil's Pulpit on Offa's Dyke, stroll along the riverbanks of the Wye and work up an appetite for a traditional Sunday lunch at the Royal George Hotel (two minutes from the cottage!). Short break from just £299 in November based on two sharing.

Winter Offer at Symonds Yat Rock Lodge - Come and enjoy the autumn leaves, frosty winter walks and the glorious view from the apartments. Great walks start from the door (and include a good pub!) such as Viewpoints Walk and River Wye Walk.

Remember, remember...
